So ya, it's been a while. I just kinda got lazy, oh and probably a little tired cause of baby number 5. Things are going good on that. We have some issues that really haven't been all that hard to deal with. We have to travel to Calgary every two weeks to have a special ultrasound that only the Foothills hospital can do. They measure the babies brain blood flow to see how fast it is flowin. If it is going too quickly then it means that the babe is becoming anemic. IF this happens then they would deal with it then. The worst case is that they would do an invetro blood transfusion. We have had these issues with all the last 3 babies and now this one. We have been so blessed not to have had any problems. As a matter of fact the doctors say that with every month of the babies growth it should get worse and it never has, and with every pregnancy it should be worse and so far they have all been very similar. So here's hoping (and praying). So far baby is doing marvelous, growing and moving and just doing its job making mommy slightly (not horribly) uncomfortable. You would think that after 4 ultrasounds the baby would have let us know if its a boy or girl. We have seriously tried and tried to see. We thought mayby a girl but only cause thats all I know and I couldn't see anything else showing otherwise. If you tilt your head to the left it kinda looks like the little babe is screaming to get out.
Winter was long. I am so ready for it to be over. Today was gorgeous! The girls played outside, Mark cleaned out and added new water to the hot tub and also he pooper scooped!!! That was the highlight. One wonderful day this winter though we went to Kalispell Montana and the older two girls got to go skiing for the very first time. I was shocked at how well they did. I cried! How goofy is that!? So fun. This first video was about an hour into the lessons and Brae was a little bit nervous but really trying hard. Check out her arms near the end, I love how stiff they are. Brae is in all pink and Jack is wearing a grey and red outfit.
This was a couple hours in. Jack really loved it. Note how her Daddy almost drops the camera. After this day Mark decided that he would like to take the girls more often.
We had a few birthdays, we now have a 7 yr(B) old a 5 yr(K) old and a very grown up 3 yr(A) old. Oh and we've still got the beautiful 8 yr(J) old of course.
So we set up an eye doctor appointment for the whole family. I asked if Addie would really benefit from a checkup and the nurse thought why not she is covered by Alberta Health so we went ahead with it. For the little ones they show pretty easy pictures to them and on one of the lines Addie would sit and very easily tell us what they were, a car, a hand, a horse or a birthday cake. She was very good and very still as she saw these but everytime the Dr. would go down a line she would get all squirmy and would just say things like "I can't, I just can't". We were a little concerned and the Dr said to come back. We did but I was sure there would be nothing found. They put the drops in her eyes that dilate your pupils so she looked a little crazy all day. The Dr decided she really should be wearing glasses. I about died. Mark and I both had glasses when we were young and so I shouldn't be surprised but I didn't really think it would be my 3 yr old. Kels might need them in a yr or two but we'll see. She actually cried cause she felt ripped off that only Addie would get them. Anyway here are some pics. She is pretty darn cute and she has been pretty good about keeping them on.

We drove around the temple yesterday after our fun night with the Ehlert Fam and as we drove up Addie said "That's the temple, I go inside?" I said "Not now, when you get married" so since then she has been saying this. Make sure you pause my music so you can hear it. It's a long way off but I sure hope it sticks. Such a sweet baby.
So, we had a very special day on October 25th. Our gorgeous 8 year old was baptized. She was so blessed to have so many people there that love her. Thank you everyone who came and made her day so special and of course all those who we know wished they could be there. We love you all.
I'm so grateful for the gospel and I feel blessed that Mark and I have been taught by our parents and teachers throughout our lives. I hope we can do as good a job.
Here are a few pics of the day.
I know this is washed out but I just think it captured her so well. I love you, you wonderful sweet girl.
Recognize anyone?? We took the kids to the mall to go trick or treating and the Lethbridge Herald used us to capture the moment, why wouldn't they with those good looking little witches. Addie wouldn't wear her hat so mommy had to take care of it.
Jack and Brae about 4 yrs ago. We were living in a house we were renting in Calgary. There were dandelions everywhere, probably cause they love blowing the seeds everywhere. Love looking back at old pictures. Anyone who wants to do it, go for it. So fun.
Our favorite lullaby is one that was on a winnie the pooh soundtrack. It is called "Eeyores lullaby". We loved it and when the girls were little I sang it to them every night. I was just looking through old videos and found this of Jack. Pay attention to the very end.
We also sang this one. We didn't really know all the real words but we did the best we could. Here is Brae with her rendition of "Hush little Baby"
