I love my life. What a life it is. My wonderful husband actually really loves me, even on the days I'm not sure if I like myself. I have beautiful kids that occasionally drive me crazy but who at the end of the day are marvelous. Wonderful family, well two wonderful families that I am so lucky to be a part, one I was born into and one I married into. Awesome friends, men and women who enrich my life everyday, people who take care of me and my kids when I'm, I don't know, maybe late picking them up from school or whatever. You know who you are.

The other day we had the Strongs over for dinner and we were talking about the kids class elections and Jack came home with the decision that she would run for class rep like her buddy Spencer. She made a couple posters that said

"There's gonna be a new sherriff in town, so put up your hands and vote for Jackson"

and

"A vote for Jackson is a vote for a star"

Then last night we wrote out a speech for her to give today in class.

At the end of her speech she handed out some dollar store sunglasses that are shaped like stars. I was really hoping she wins, she has been kinda fragile (whiny) lately. She really wants it. The two older girls have been very cute writing out the speech and planning it all. Brae would make a great campaign manager, or maybe a body guard, or bouncer.

She WON!!!!!!!
So did Spencer!!!!
Yay!!! Happy day!

You guys are making me out to be "all that" If only you saw me in real life, your beliefs would be dashed to bits. But thanks all you amazing moms out there.
